let’s play catch-up, shall we?

I’ve been pretty absent from tumblr lately so let me get you caught up on the craziness that has been my life for the past two weeks or so. In chronological order I:

• Got my stupid wisdom tooth cut up and cut out on Friday the 13th and it knocked me on my ass for well over a week. Aside from the whole oral surgery thing i also caught a cold and essentially lost my voice so that was fun.
• Got to see Josh Blue (he won Last Comic Standing - no idea which season) perform in DC and then we met him afterwards! Naturally, i was highly medicated.
• Got all gussied up and attended the boy’s work gala. Another highly medicated evening. 
• Packed for our week in Florida. We were supposed to leave Sunday, but the boy bought a house (yikes! so grown up!) and he didn’t close on Friday like he was supposed to so we ended up having to wait until Tuesday to drive the 14 hours to Tampa.
• Finally started feeling better and enjoyed the gorgeous sunny weather for a few days.
• Flew home and left the boy to enjoy another week in the sunshine state (boo!)
